Birthday Frog!!

Birthday Frog!! on Cake Central

I got the idea from Wilton's website. Its made in the butterfly pan and the frog has a cookie face. Just a chocolate cake with my trusty buttercream frosting. I tried really hard, doesn't look exactly like the Wilton's example, but I tried.

I was planning on doing a birthday cake for a girl at work next week. she loves frogs. I thinkI will use this! What kind of cookie?

I used "SPARTAN" (which is the off brand in my area) Break n' Bake. I just took 4 sugar cookie squares mooshed together, rolled them flat, and used the pattern from Wilton.com. Search "leap frog" and print the face pattern. Let me know if you need anymore help. I used purple because its my aunt's favorite color.

As a frog lover, I think you did a GREAT job on this cake! Not that my opinion counts, but I think yours is just as good as the one in the yearbook! Also, if your aunt loved it, that's the most important thing! Great job!

The dragonfly is plastic. I paid .25 for it at the cake shop. I wanted a fly but the dragonfly was the closest she had to a bug.
