Birthday on Cake Central

This is my first time using fondant. I made a traditional white cake with a thick frosting filling. ON THe outside I spread homemade buttercream and used food coloring to create the different colors of fondant for the "wrapping", bow, ribbons and tag. I used writing icing to create the swirls and "happy birthday" and finally i surrounded the bottom of the cake with left over buttercream but added pink for color and strawberry flavoring. This was for mom's birthday..HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!
