Santa Hats

Santa Hats on Cake Central

These were made this past christmas for my coworker who wanted to give her daughter's teachers something different for christmas. They were made with the wilton mini wonder mold pan and frosted with bc to resemble Santa's hat. The same day i had a friend's mom pick up a cake i did for her and she fell in love with them that she ordered 15 of them for her coworkers. They were cute and easy to do! The bottom pic is how i wrapped them all with a candy cane ribbon bow!

Very cute. How did you get the icing on so well. I have trouble with the smaller cakes and getting the icing just right.

i thinned my icing a bit with corn syrup, that made it a lot easier to ice...then i just kept going over it with my knife.
