I used styafoam and dowel rods. So sorry about Fen Fen, if it's any consolation, this racoon was butcherd by a bunch of 8 year olds!!!

This is awesome! How cute even though I know it was one of them little buggars that did my Fen Fen in! Poor kitty!! How did you do the tail!

This is a great cake. I've just been asked to make a racoon cake and this would be perfect. Could you possibly e-mail me at [email protected] with the directions on how you did the face of the racoon, and what tips and colors you used for the stump? I would really appreciate it! Thanks! Tricia

Great cake!! You've very talented. Not sure if you want to give out your secrets, but how did you do the racoon face? My parents raise orphaned racoons and re-release them into the wild and would love this cake! [email protected]

Thanks, and I don't mind giving secrets as that's what we do here. I use the stand up bear pan and simply built up the nose area with icing. I used glass eyes and nylon string for the whiskers. Of course they had to be removed prior to it being demolished.

one more thing...how did you get your texture in your tree stump? I'm assuming that you used fondant for that area...thanks!
