Chicken Cake on Cake Central

My next store neighbor wanted a bday cake for her brother! She told me he raises chickens, so this is what I came up with!

Thank you all so much! Ok, where do I start? Ill start with the chicken. I used a picture of a ceramic chicken as a reference, when I sculpted the chicken, she is al MMF, The wooden fence is MMF as well, just rolled out the MMF, then cut into strips, then used a fork to give it texture, then painted them. The eggs are real, MMF, to give them shine, I got them a little wet. The hay is MMF, cut into thin strips and then colored yellowI

Thanks again, all your comments mean a lot! I mean to say that eggs are not real, they are MMF, then to make them shine, I got them a little wet!

This cake is amazing!!! You did a fantastic job and it looks so realistic. I collect chickens and this one looks a lot like one I have sitting in my kitchen. I am putting this one in my favorites.

I know I'm a bit late to the party on this but quick question if I can... when you designed with the MMF, did you add 50/50 gumpaste or tylose? How long did you need to let it fry for? thanks a bunch! Doreen
