Dragon Fire
I was asked to make a cake with a dragon theme. I sat at my desk for 8 hours and I molded this dragon out of fondant, The fondant is attatched to a metal wire skeleton. The dragon's wings are made from fruit roll-us to give them a thin fleshy look. The fire is a plastic drinking straw that was decorated to look like a fire stream. WhenI finshed the cake, (gold with a chocolate mousse filling) I pushed the drong close to the fire stream to give it the illusion that the dragon was shooting fire.
