This cake was so easy to make but I think the design is very effective. The cake is decorated in dark chocolate and then I finished it with black petal dust. I created the stars using silver/alcohol petal dust and painted them on using a skewer. I cut the lettering from chocolate molding dough and I made R2D2 from white chocolate with detail finishes with blue molding chocolate. To accompany this cake I made Vader, X-wing and R2D2 cupcakes - again I coloured the chocolate with petal dust. I used star wars ice cube trays for the chocolate toppings. I love how simple this cake was to make.
