I made this for a friend's son's first birthday. The little one is a smash cake with strawberry buttercream and fondant 1 and fish. The little cake is wrapped in modeling chocolate. The tiered cake is yellow cake with strawberry SMBC and sliced strawberries as the filling, ganache and fondant covering. All the decorations are fondant except for the whale, which is rice krispie treats covered in modeling chocolate. I was unable to get the whale as smooth as I would have liked - my hands kept melting the modeling chocolate while I tried to smooth it. Overall, I am very pleased with how this one turned out! TFL!
