Vanilla cake with Vannilla Buttercream. Made for 3 year old twins

Made on probably the most humid day we've had this summer. I just could NOT get the fondant to roll out. It tore and stuck and ripped and just plain gave me nothing but trouble. I had to place it on in panels, which changed the entire look of the cake. I was so upset sending this cake off, I gave the mom a pretty big discount! I figured out a little too late that mixing a small amount of gumpaste in to the fondant improved pliability... Oh well...live and learn!
