This is a birthday cake done for a friend who was having her birthday party at a Spanish-style Tapas restaurant called "La Luna Negra." The restaurant had rich colors of red and purple. The lace trim was inspired by the dresses that the flamenco dancers wore. Flowers on the cake are gumpaste and the additional pieces are blueberry and raspberry skewers. The middle tier was done with a flower shaped pan. The top and bottom tier are round.
