For my hubby's 60th birthday I wanted to try my first all real layered cake. The bottom layer is chocolate with chocolate Ganache filling which was delicious, but the ganache ended up too runny. The next is carrot cake with (of course) cream cheese filling, followed by lemon cake with lemon filling, then another chocolate cake. The very top layer is Styrofoam so the wires (from the stars)have something anchor in. Over all it was a hit, and I learned a lot as I went.
