I made this cake using straight Mountain Dew syrup instead of water in my cake recipe. It was VERY heavy which is why it didn't hold round very well. I also made buttercream with the Mountain Dew syrup instead of water. This cake was VERY rich it was like eating solidified Mountain Dew!
