The third novelty cake I have made, I'm only a beginner, so I am very pleased with how this one turned out. The cat is RKT with buttercream, it was supposed to be a lavender colour, but I forgot that the paste colours darken over time, and by the time I got up in the morning, she was dark purple! Luckily it was only for my neice, who was absolutely thrilled with it. She loves cats. I had the cat in a box idea myself and then googled that, and got a picture of one from flickr, so thank you to the lady who kindly provided the inspiration! Madeira cake with buttercream filling.
