I made this cake for my middle child's fifth birthday. She planned her theme around the cake. She loved the Debbie Brown toadstool cake, but we wanted to make it her own. The figure (a fairy--there are wings, I swear!) is my first human-like figure, and, admittedly, I had no idea what I was doing and sorta just winged it. I will have to study up on figures before I try again. Round cake is strawberry with vanilla buttercream and toadstool is white with vanilla buttercream.
