My sister loves birds so I made this for her birthday. Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing and a chocolate/raspberry filling. Used gumpaste for the white and the birds because I saw where a lot of people said it was easier to work with than fondant. I have never worked with either. Took a LONG time, but not bad for my first attempt.
