This is a Willy Wonka cake that I made for my son's birthday party this weekend. I was inspired by cakes by buckygirl and wendy1273. This cake is chocolate chocolate chip on the bottom and vanilla chocolate chip on top. It is frosted all in buttercream with fondan accents. I tried to make it a tapered cake but I need some more carving practice as I didn't get the tapers dramatic enough nor even enough. However, the kids all loved it.
