This was my second Sponge Bob themed cake in two days. An old friend of mines daughter loves Sponge Bob. I bought the house which came with Sponge Bob, Pattrick and Squidworth. It was a luau theme. I colored the fondant a light blue then covered it with blue piping get and brown sugar to give the illusion of water and sand. On the sides of the round layer I used white icing to make "air bubbles" and music notes since Sponge Bob is playing music. On the borders I used two different color greens, orange and purple to make the sea weed and "coral". I had it coming up the side of the house as well. This was a red velvet cake with home made cream cheese filling. It was a hit!!
