I made this 2 years ago for my son's birthday. I used 1 chocolate cake mix cooked inside of a glass bowl, then trimmed it a bit to look like a ball. I used another mix to make a 13x9 cake that I trimmed to look like a bowling pin. I used fruit by the foot for the stripes on the pin and regular store bought frosting for everthing else (which I don't love, but was pressed for time). The frosting looks a little messed up, because some tiny fingers got to the cake when I wasn't around!
