White Cake With Raspberry Filling
I did this cake for my husband's birthday. First time I've filled/torted a cake. It turned out really good. I did not care for the cake recipe I used, it was more like a pound cake so not as light and kind of dry when it was cold. The filling I just cooked down two pkgs of frozen raspberries with enough sugar to taste and cornstarch to thicken. I used Wilton whipped frosting mix which is a staple in my kitchen- love it!!!
