A big bouquet of daisies always makes me smile, which is why I though this would be a perfect cake for my mom's birthday. The stems are Pirouette cookies dipped in tinted white chocolate, and there are 55 gum paste daisies on top. I would have liked to have added a few more daisies for some added depth, but I ran out of time. I also tried a new recipe...country buttermilk cake with blackberry buttercream. It was fantastic!
