critique group member: This was my first Barbie cake, I had tons of issues but am pretty pleased with the outcome. Barbie's skirt is chocolate cake covered in MMF, and bottom layer is marble covered in buttercream.

Critique group member: When I did my doll cake I got the suggestion to add a 10" round on the bottom for height on the ball gown base. The composition is great, the color works well together and carried throughout the design. Your ribbon roses are darling. Work on your shell border. Make each shell more distinct from each other instead of a running shell border to give it a more polished professional look. Overall very pretty.

critique subgroup member: overall very cute cake! great color combination and love your roses. To me the skirt needs to be a bit longer to be more in proportion to the size of the Barbie.
Critique Group Member: Wow ~ this is so pretty. I like the waves you made in the skirt. It's really neat. As far as a critique for you, I think the roses are a bit much. A simplistic look of just the rose on the dress and the four corners like you have it would look elegant.
critique group member: I am having a hard time believeing that this gave you fits! :) It really and truly looks wondeful. I like the colors and the MMF is really well done. The BC is smooth with only slight slight inconsistencies with squeezing on that bottom border. This is a super cake. Great job.
I think it looks great! I may have a Barbie cake next year (you know kids change their minds a million times before making a decision!) and may use this as my inspiration! Great job and I really like the colors! :D
