I made this cake for the Seminole Corn Festival in 2006. It was the first cake I ever decorated and I won first place at the Festival. It is a buttercream cake with gum paste stalk.

It looks so realistic! And wow your writing is so beautiful - my writing didn't look anywhere near that nice on my first cake! Great work!
Thanks. The writing was the easy party for me because I am a graphic designer by trade and have been doing freehand for years. I like decorating cakes better though.
