Deer
This guy is my very first sculpted cake. (Its only the 3rd cake I have ever decorated other than slapping some frosting on a sheet cake!...lol) He didnt turn out as well as I had hoped. Next time there is a few things that I will do differently. It was a fun learning experience though and the family just loved him. I want to thank mjones17 for the instructions and to LittleBigMomma for her encouragement.
I am soooo proud of you girl!!! You did a great job!!
Your cake looks great!
looks good,
Looks like a deer to me....good job!
I think you did a great job on it!!
I am doing one of those right now. I think that it looks good. I know from being in the middle of one right now that it is not as simple as it looks. I have already learned things that I will do different next time. Good job!!
I think that it looks great and I hope to try this one in Dec for my husbands b-day he would just love it!! Do you have any tips for me??
Thank you guys sooo much!! You made me feel so much better.... I was really nervous about posting him!! amyegk....make sure that you freeze your cake before carving. Don't do the antlers until last...I made them first and they were way too big to fit the cake and had to redo them. It will take several coats of the royal icing to cover the antlers.
I think you did an awesome job!
You have to tell me how to do this, my hubby would LOVE it!! ~Flava
