Pilot Wale - Animal Rights Collaboration 2016
“Animal Rights” was an international public cake collaboration hosted by Tartas Imposibles by Isabel Tamargo. More than 160 amazing pieces in defense of animal rights!! Love and respect animals! SAVE THE PILOT WHALES My piece is inspired by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization, established in 1977 . Their mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species. Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations. http://www.facebook.com/animalrightscollaboration Ana Remígio xxx CUPCAKES & DREAMS My facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/CUPCAKES-DREAMS/115882865103239?ref=hl
Crocodile @animal Rights Collaboration
Here is my piece for the fabulous collaboration Animal Rights organized by dear Isabel Tamargo - Tartas Imposibles. My piece represents a birthday gift for "Papa's girl" made in crocodile skin, but instead of being a piece of clothing, footwear or accessory, the gift is the crocodile itself ripped out of its puddle so that the birthday girl turns it into the piece she wants most. With this piece I pretend to raise awareness of the population against the consumption of animal skins! #animalrights #animalrightscollaboration #savetheanimals
Stag @animal Rights Collaboration
With a message of Love, respect and protection, I would like to share my contribution to the Animal Rights Collaboration. 10th December was " The International Day of Animal Rights"! 167 Cake designers from around the world have come together to each, create a work of art using edible materials only. Please head over to our collaboration page, Like, Share and help us spread the love for all the Animals... http://www.facebook.com/animalrightscollaboration The purpose of this collaboration was to create awareness of the need to love and respect our 'Furry Friends' and I am so thrilled and honoured to be a part of this great collaboration. Let's stand united against poaching, animal testing and destroying their habitat My Animal is a Stag and my collaboration piece was sculpted with Modelling Chocolate. Hope you like it !
American Bald Eagle "world Animal Day 2016"
This is my piece for the World Animal Day 2016 collaboration hosted by the super talented Sharon Spradley. This was my first collab and I was super excited to be asked. We had to do an animal from our native country. My country being the United States I thought there would be nothing more fitting than the American Bald Eagle. I chose this not just because of the obvious reason but also in part due to my Native American heritage and the other part due to it’s amazing climb from being almost extinct to thriving. I encourage you to go over to the collaboration and check out all of the amazing cakes that were done for this collab. My cake body was covered in chocolate as the under layer. The feathers were made with a mixture of gumpaste, modeling chocolate, and fondant. Each feather was painstakingly cut veined and dusted by hand using a leaf cutter and vein mold. The head and feet were done using modeling chocolate and covered in fondant and the eyes where made using isomalt and an edible image. The cake was dusted and airbrushed for color and depth. https://www.facebook.com/worldanimaldaycollaboration2016/ https://www.facebook.com/tammymashburnsedibleart/

Bird Drinking Water From Tap
Proud to present to you the piece I made for the facebook collaboration "animal rights collaboration " The piece is called - Bird Drinking from Tap The idea of this piece is that Water is a basic need / right of any living animal! I loved the idea that the bird is drinking from a tap which normally is used by people. In this piece I used Fondant and Wafer paper. The piece is airbrushed using edible airbrush colors and partially colored by hand. The bird is "The Great Tit" - It's a small yellow bird with white head and a black cap. A special thing about this piece, is that it is "Gravity Defying" in the sense that the Tap is floating in the air and unsupported from its' back side. #animalrightscollaboration #animalrights #savetheanimals My Facebook page link: https://www.facebook.com/MySweetStop/
Animal Rights Collaboration - Elephant
This was my contribution for the Animal Rights Collaboration hosted by Isabel Tamargo. I have focused on circus animal rights. My piece represent depressing life of wild animals in a circus. Just like a puppet on a string, an animal in a circus is forced to perform whether he wants to or not. Circus animals spend most of their time confined to small enclosures, often in isolation, being carted from town to town, to be brought out on stage to perform in bright, loud tents, unnatural and awkward trick. I say NO to circus with animals!

Farm Birthday Cake
I don’t do a lot of modeling but this cake was really fun to do! I went with more cartoon-like animals as they are much easier to pull off. The initial request was for a cake with goats, kittens, maybe a sloth or some kind of animal. I wasn’t totally sure how to proceed but then he elaborated a bit and said farm theme with a random sloth so this is what I came up with. The one chicken is looking down over the edge of the cake as if she’s wondering why there is a sloth on the fence :-) I was told the birthday girl loved it. Hope you all do too.
