first cake to do...it was for my dh's birthday next week as a trial run all buttercream..not as good as i would like.. can't seem to get my sides done right. any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Great job for your first. By sides are you talking about the green edging? The shells? Just practice doing a straight line first and try a star tip for more definition. Make sure the frosting is stiff enough to stand up. Great work!
