I jumped on here to ask a question and while waiting for my cake to get out of the oven started browsing.  K8  has answered the following to a bunch of forum posts.....has she been hacked???

Well I’ll miss all of you very much. If anyone is ever willing to start a large email chain (like I do for my classroom parents) PLEASE let me know. I can’t imagine  it being able to communicate with all of you, but Facebook is not in my future.

Hey, all of you guys who are reluctant to join FaceBook, Keep Calm and Cake On is the most kind bunch of people you will ever meet.  In order to be a member, you must be approved by the administrators.  It was formed in the first place because the group in which we all met was falling apart, just like this one and we wanted to stay in touch, so it is the perfect place for you.  It is not hugely active and is a small group, so will not take up too much of your time.

BettyA, I am expecting you to join this time!  I lost you once already and do not want to loose you again!

K8 I can’t seem to find anything on that site  — no one / no conversation etc when using my phone:(   I got in the other day on the computer at the library   Guess I’ll be limited to infrequent use again   Yuck Sooo sad

but I understand the fb thing — I closed my acct...and overtook my husband’s and I used to be a leader in our neighborhood watch group — I mean to the tune of writing grants for thousands of dollars and i took myself out of that too — it was a great run got a lot of good things accomplished...and time to move on...

Sad to see this site failing! Everyone here is always so helpful and I love seeing the beautiful goodies everyone makes. But I sent a request to join the Facebook group and hope to see everyone over there so I can keep admiring your work. :)
