Hello.  I would like to attempt a similar design to this but can't figure out the 2D bottom part.  Are those cutters?  If yes does anyone know where I can purchase them?  Thank you in advance!

Are you referring to the wheels or the base?

Sorry, confusing post! The full cake is two tiers but I just posted a picture of the bottom with the more 2D train that I'd like to replicate

Looks all hand cut to me.

I would make a template and cut to size

Yes, I think that's what I'll do but get a plunger or cutter for the wheels. The bakery doea have a template they have shared with at least two other professionals I have a seen online. But they didn't want to share/sell to an amateur home baker

How silly... they wouldn't sell/share to you!!! Should not make any difference to them if you were baking out of your trunk! Just use round cutter and then small triangle for spokes.

I am sure it will be super cute!

Good luck!

Just find a cute cartoon train, print it in the size you want to use on your cake and use it as your templet.
