Just wondering why I see numerous naughty cakes in the Newest Cakes section and the Favorite Cakes section of CC today. Have I inadvertently changed something on my account? If so, how do I fix it? I'm not really interested in these type cakes and was happily oblivious until today. I thought you had to subscribe to this section to view them? I don't think I have, well not intentionally anyway.
Any insight would be awesome, thanks. Sorry if this isn't posted in the correct forum, wasn't sure where to post it.
I'm glad it's not just me who doesn't think it's so great to log on to CC and see a little bride figurine climbing a giant penis cake. Kiddos in the room don't need to be exposed to this.
I flagged the one currently on the CC homepage. Hopefully if enough people do the same, the admins will fix it.

ome people are not selecting the "naughty cakes" area of the gallery when posting.
I thought these only showed up because I was subscribed to that section. Wow, I could imagine the embarrassment I would feel if I opened this at work not expecting such a thing!
AI was a little shocked too. One of the cakes I saw was labeled as "misc naughty cake" or whatever - so it seems it was in the right gallery.
I make a lot of these cakes, but I don't necessarily want to see them on the home page.
I don't mind them being in a gallery you have to click on to see, but I don't want them showing up on the homepage as my 9 year old walks behind me! I must say, some of them are rather realistic!
I think until it gets fixed, I'm going to avoid the homepage and sneak in the side door. By going to http://cakecentral.com/users/subscriptions/index/view/activity (my subscriptions), I can get to the forums without going through the homepage.
AThere was another picture i saw earlier that about gagged me when i came here and had it shoved down my throat. It is hard to stomach the really graphic ones. There should be stiff rules in place so that these sorts of images don't penetrate our lives. Someone needs to take this problem in hand and work out a solution before it becomes bigger.

I too saw the photo and wondered if I had changed something without realizing it, glad its not just me.
AIt's hard when this stuff is always in your face.

Bizarre!
Things like this can really cause an uprising in cake communities, someone must really be hard up for attention to post something like that.
I hope the problem gets discharged immediately.

Definitely use the backdoor... I have the forums bookmarked and I go straight there. I had to go look to see what you were talking about because I don't even see the homepage.
Totally agree, I saw a cake the other day that really shocked me - showed my husband & he couldn't believe it either. I'm certainly no prude but think there's a time & a place (hidden behind closed doors!).
