I came across this, can you imagine how long it took to make this, and how heavy it must have been!!!

I happily pinched this image from the fabulous English Wedding blog. Yes, I realise most bloggers are wetting themselves over the beauty of the new Castigliano gowns and getting orgasmic about duchesse satin, but here it's all about the cake. And boy, that is one big ass cake.

How in the world did they make that? A lot of stacking and carving or they baked it in a couple of swimming pools, I'm not sure which.

They made it by simply piecing cakes together. Don't quite see what the big deal is. I'd just be worried about the number of people it would take to transport and set it up...that's a lot of fingers to be potentially poked into the sides of the cakes inadvertently. LOL
