So that's where my pool boys went! I was wondering why no one was servicing my... pool!

I didn't ask, but I enjoyed the challenge.... I believe every man should learn how to do laundry.
And to do the laundry well. Cause if it's not done right the first time you have to keep doing it over and over and over. Not that it would be a bad thing....

Can I ask why they were doing that to your back? I'm supposed to be having something done to my upper neck, in between the C2, C3 and C4. The opcipital (sp?) nerves also? I don't know all the terms, my Dh has all the info because of me not having any short term memory either, I had a head injury also. Anyhow I fractured C7 and caused major damage to the others i mentioned and they are going to be doing some kind of shot/ blocks or something into those nerves. They said I will be completely out though. Just wondering if it's the same type of thing.

Idreamofcakes, sorry it took so long to tell you! I fell down the stairs at work at damaged my SI nerve (I joked about it in the "Most embarrasing situation?" forum). I think what I had was the shot/block like you said, it was like a steroid shot with an anesthetic. They do that first to make sure they have the correct nerve, then they will burn the nerve and the pain will go away for up to 8 months (or until the pain finds away to re-route the hurt). I was told I would be out, also. But I wasn't, and the "pain" medication they gave me through the IV only worked for about 1/4 of the way through. So, I guarantee you when I go back, I WILL have better medication! Possibly since you have so many that they are working on, they will put you out. I'll tell you what though, I had it done on Wed. and felt GREAT up until today...now the pain in back, but if that's what having it done is like, I can't WAIT to have it burned!! It was so nice going without pain, even if it was for only a few days!! Good luck with your procedure, I hope you feel better, too!

It's actually the first time I tried them, and they're so much fun!! 
Well, I know how you feel. I bet it's been so slow because of football. 
I sure don't watch that stuff, and my DH got mad that Desperate Housewives was pre-empted because of it! He's pretty funny sometimes!!!
I can't wait to get the kids to bed and me and DH into the hot tub!!! YAY!!!!!
