I just got asked the wonderful question about why would someone want to pay you when they can get a cake at Walmart for $110. I had mentioned on another forum that the supplies alone will cost $150. Don't you just love that question...

That's what I said. The Walmart cake is a small 2 tier round. The person asking me for an estimate wants a 4 tiered heart shaped cake and knows that she can't get that at Walmart.

The lady asking me the question said she wished she had gotten hers from Walmart because her wedding cake was nasty and dry. But she also said it was the decorator's first wedding cake and she hadn't been decorating for long. And she had never tasted her cakes before.
