I think you're totally on to something here. The statue looks to be holding at least one ankh, if not two, which is the symbol for eternal life. Interesting that Amy's husband was wearing an ankh necklace, AND that the Others wanted his body...

(Hooray for Lostpedia and their listing of details you miss, cause your brain is too far in WTH?! mode while watching the show icon_lol.gif )

And I agree that the baby is someone we know, but I'm not entirely convinced it's Charlie/Boone/Ethan. I wouldn't put it past the writers to blindside us with a "the baby is Christian who gets sent back in time during the 'Incident'!" type scenario. But then, Lost just makes me crazy like that. dunce.gif

I totally didn't realize when I watched it that that wasn't the same wife that we've seen Horace with before... What was her name anyway? Olivia I think??

All I have to say is thank god for you gals on here!!! I get so "lost" while watching it, then come and read this thread the next day and things start falling into place for me! I'm horrible at remembering people's names and connections so this really helps! I also love that they play the previous weeks show with subtitles that help me remember important information I never thought of.

lanibird - I'm totally with you on the baby being someone completely older than what we think, just that they've been time traveling, so now they're older....I'm gonna guess it's Locke though. Hmmm, maybe John has been on the island before, maybe Ben wiped out the population to try to get rid of Locke.....wow, now I'm not making any sense! LOL!!! I love this show!

*depressed sigh*

I don't know what I'm going to do when Lost is put back on hiatus, let alone when the series is over. And we're already halfway over! icon_cry.gif

Have a good day regardless, everyone!

Happy Lost Wedn-

Oh, yeah... no new Lost today...

hmph!

Yeah, if we're like this over 1 Lost-free week, we're gonna need lots of help when it all ends. dunce.gif

Edited because it's "lots" not "lost". icon_lol.gif Freudian slip?

Blah...

What a boring night.

So besides Lost what else does everyone watch?

I am really behind in television right now. I tend to watch most things online when I have time. Lost is the only thing I have to watch during its original broadcast. icon_rolleyes.gif

Anyone else a fan of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"? I started watching it online a few months ago and it is hilarious! If you are into politically incorrect humor this show is for you. The lead characters are just terrible human beings, but so damn funny!

well, I found the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" and watched that (while cruisin' CC at the same time, of course!). Hubby watched American Idol, but I just cant' get connected with anyone on there this year.

I watched "Prada" last night too, indydebi! I LOVE that movie. And with Idol, I usually only watch the audition episodes, and then stop.

Let's see, I watch pretty much any show that has to do with food (Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, most of Food Network). 24, NCIS, that's pretty much it. But Lost and 24 are my big shows.

Okay, I came up with this last night, and I want to see what everyone thinks, or if I'm totally off my rocker. I"ll try to explain this as best I can, it all sorta swirlin around in my head.
We don't know where Olivia Goodspeed is, right? But we know she was still on the Island as Ben's schoolteacher, he was like what, 12 or so? (If Ben was born in the early 60's, this is right around 1974 where the Losties showed up.) What if she left the Island, and Horace. (Hence Horace reminiscing "Is three years enough to get over someone?") Who else do we know left the Island? Charlotte and her mother. So Charlotte could be Horace and Olivia's daughter, they left the Island right around the time the Losties show up at Dharma, Horace and Amy end up together and have a baby. (Some people theorize that the baby is Daniel Faraday, but that would make him and Charlotte half siblings, and that's just kinda gross. Like Luke and Leia, lol) I don't really know how it all fits in the big picture, but at least it answers the question of where Olivia went.

Whew! icon_lol.gif

Whatcha all think? Am I missing something that's disproves all of this?

maryjsgirl Cake Central Cake Decorator Profile

I believe Faraday is too old to be Amy's child. According to Lostpedia it was the year 1996 when Daniel was a professor at Oxford. If born in 77 that would make him still a teen. Could be possible I guess, he is a genius, but not likely IMO.

That is a good catch! (Olivia teaching Ben) So she is still on the island, just not with Horace. Wonder why?

I do think there's something more to Horace being upset about losing someone 3 years ago. I can see the part about her leaving...hmm.

Maryjsgirl - I LOVE It's Always Sunny in Philadephia! A friend turned me on to that a couple of years ago and I was instantly in love. icon_lol.gif They are terrible and fantastic at the same time.

Ahh yes another fan! I was so happy when they brought Danny Devito on! icon_lol.gif He is so perfect for the show. He makes me giggle no matter what he does anyways. Funniest show on tv hands down.

Do any of you watch Criminal Minds - in my area it actually comes on the same time as Lost - so I have to record it. It gets to intense and serious sometimes, but to see Shemar Moore is worth it.

What network is "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" on? Unfortunately I haven't heard of it, so it may be on a channel I don't receive...
I used to watch Criminal Minds, I really like it. But yeah, it's on the same time as Lost, and the show would just get jumbled with all the other things on my DVR, and I would never get around to watching it. Lol.

Sunny is shown on FX. You can go to their website and there are a few episodes you can watch. I know the first season is on DVD.

He is perfect! Who knew how well he'd fit in, he cracks me up. They all do. Especially Charlie, the shows centered around him are hilarious. The NAMES of the episodes are what sends me into fits of giggles. It's so non-PC, I love it.

You know which one was one of the funniest? The welfare episode. icon_lol.gificon_wink.gif

Lol, that was one of the best. "Charlie Gets an Abortion" is my personal favorite though. The one were they fake being handicapped to pick up dates is one of the best too. icon_lol.gif

I saw that on another site - very cool cake! They did a great job on the details and the characters.

I'm so frustrated for Jin/Sun, they're going to drag this one out! lol How crazy that they're 30 years apart but in the same place.

Little Ben! He looks evil even as a child.

And we called it, Ethan!

This is kind of neat, seeing things as they were in '77.

Kate better not get in the way of Sawyer and Juliette.

Poor Sayid, always on his own.

p.s. Maryj, about It's Always Sunny...I loved that episode too! icon_lol.gif I have to catch up on season 4.
