Christie, please don't laugh & I am not trying to pickle you LOL, but fill your bathtub with just warm water & pour 2 cups of vinegar into it. It is so soothing for sunburn, takes the heat & sting out.
Can you get a sunscreen called Hawaiian Tropic, it is only SPF 15, but this cream is fantastic. I think it is the only one that really works.

Laura, thanks for asking about me! I had my cousin's son's baptism to go to on Sunday and I made the cake (in my photos). I also got a last minute cake order from my neighbor. She picked it up last night and called me this morning to say it was inhaled and loved by her family (soccer ball cake for her significant other, eaten by them and her two kids). And today is my mil's birthday and I neede to make a small cake for tomorrow. Her "thing" is shoes so I'm making a small Jimmy Choo shoebox and was planning on doing a rush shoe or two and a poppy (her favorite flower) - imagine my surprise when I realized I have no more gp!! Waiting for DH to get home from work so I can run to Michael's (Nick Lodge's recipe needs to set for a few hours, preferrably 24, and I can't wait that long).
I might make a small b-day cake for DD since I never finished her dragon cake due to the wake and funeral we went to for DH's uncle. But I doubt I'll have time - I'll see how the flower and shoes go.
I'm going to try to do a 4th of July cake and I also have to pack my stuff for Cake Camp soon. Oh, I also have two workshops to attend this month - one with the NJ Cake Decorator's Club and the other with the NY Cake Decorator's Meetup. So I'll be MIA every now and then.
