Here we go..

Description for contestant #1 : This 10"x5" cake is covered in fondant and then airbrushed to look like a planter box. It sits on a fondant covered board to look like wood and placed in the planter box are sugar paste geraniums. "Dirt" in the planter is ground chocolate grahm crackers

Description for contestant #2 : Chocolate hazelnut cake with WBH bc covered in Satin Ice fondant. All fondant and gumpaste flowers. Entirety of the piece is dusted in pearl Luster Dust.

Wow.... another tough call Both captured the theme, and did a beautiful job... The geraniums are gorgeous on the first one, and the box is very authentic looking. The second one is so delicate and feminine with soft touches, and executed with precision... oh my, such wonderful work... congratulations ladies on a job well done....

Both are beautiful cakes. The second looks very feminine and formal in style and beautifully done and could easily be a wedding cake with a couple more tiers added!! The geraniums in the first are amazingly realistic. I was blown away. Red geraniums are my favorite flower and I'd love to know how these were made. I have silk ones all over my house and real ones outside. When the votes are in I'd like lessons please!!

Wow, those are two very different, yet two gorgeous cakes! Another difficult decision! Hmmm.........this whole month's TD competition is not easy and this particular one is no exception.

Well, I've just gotta go with my first instinct.

Those are beautiful! Why are these TD's so hard? You guys are both so talented!

Those geraniums are absolutely PERFECT, right down to the brown edges on some of the leaves. And the other cake is so elegant and beautiful. Tough decision!

They are both so beautiful. I am always amazed at the talent of CCer's. Very hard decision. one is so real looking and the othr so so elegant. I agree with Carolann the 2nd one could be the top tier of a very elegant wedding cake.
