I got an email today with this link....

There is a cute little game, and each time someone plays it, pepperidge farm will donate a $1 to the Susan G Koman breast cancer fund. (up to $50,000) It is all explained on the page. I thought you all would like to do this as well.
How did it get to be December 22 already! Oh how is wish that the wrapping elves would show up and save me. LOL

When they're finished at your house will you send them to mine? I usually love wrapping, but this year there are sooo many small and/or weird shaped packages. I almost want to throw everything in grocery bags and call it a night. There was a gift wrapping article in the newspaper that suggested you spray paint odd shaped pkgs with that Krylon plastic paint. I thought it was a silly idea. It's 3 a.m. -- I think they might've been on to something!
Cute game, but now I want a cookie!
I could really use the sugar!
How's everybody doing? Hangin' in there?

Well ladies....they never did show up at my house either. They must be enjoying egg nog somewhere. I have about 12 more things to wrap. When I quit last night it sounded like hundreds...lol
I need to make my grocery list and go get it today. We were taking DD to the zoo tonight to see all the Christmas lights, but they just issued a winter weather advisory because we are expecting sleet and snow this afternoon! I am so tired of winter.
Glad you all liked the game.

I cannot believe it's Christmas Eve!! Where did the time go?? I wasn't ready for Halloween or Thanksgiving. Not much closer to being ready for Christmas. Just finished some chocolate mice. One last little candy to make. Delivered today will finish tomorrow.
My DH has some big sleigh bells he takes to our neighbors' houses. I toss around carrot scraps and mess up the oats the kids put out. Last year our neighbor left out a ladder for him to climb and get to the roof. He stomped around and shook the bells. We were laughing so hard he almost fell off the roof!! He won't be doing that again!

I did finish wrapping yesterday morning. I have a list of things to do today longer than today will be.lol Honeydukes...it sounds like so much fun, making the neighbor kids think Santa is outside. We had so much ice yesterday...I said that Santa would have a tough time staying on any roof!
Have a great day ladies
Merry Christmas
Clicks done! MERRY CHRISTMAS LADIES!!!
Can't believe it's already christmas eve! So many things to do! Hosting dinner tomarrow night. Need to strt cooking today. Still have presents to wrap and other dinners to attend! I wish there were 2 of me so one could stay home and get things together at the house for me while I go out and do other holiday stuff!!!
I still have four presents to wrap -- things for neighbors, we'll take tomorrow afternoon. I finished most of my candy -- we won't see some people until this weekend. Delivered all my "service" tips.
Cannot find fresh apple cider to save my fanny. We always drink hot apple cider and drive around looking at lights on Christmas Eve (before we pretend to be Santa.) What has happened to all the cider??!!
I'm still up trying to clean the kitchen for cooking. My DH cooks all holiday meals and I get to watch whatever games are on!! It's just us for a quiet, at home holiday. We might skip out to see a movie.
I hope everyone has a safe, healthy and happy holiday. Merry Christmas!!

lildeby, there is a link (click here to request access.) at the bottom of the naughty cakes notice. Click on it and I think they'll send you an email.
Thanks hd! I have a cake to do and i need ideas! Ive never done male anatomy! So did you try out the potato candy or decide to pass on it?
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I know I did. I enjoyed all of the company!
Ethan's mom changed her mind about us having him she was going out of town. So we had him a few hours on Christmas Eve. It was still a joy to have him. (I have so many toys in my house now i need a bigger toy box though!) He had a wonderful time though his dad, mamaw and papaw came and brought his presents here.
Then on Christmas I hosted dinner for 14 people. It was great I love to cook for alot of people, although it did make my back hurt really bad this year. I still can't do alot of standing and I was in serious pain for a good part of the day. But it was worth it!!!
clicks done! Lookin forward to the new year!!

Hi K'ly, glad to see you too. Sorry you've been sick, especially at Christmas. I was sick right after Thanksgiving, but am doing all right now.
Hope all our other posters will check in soon.
Clicking for the first day of 2009 all done.
Happy New Year ya'll.
Happy New Year!!
Hey guys!
We've been running around these past few days. I've been clicking, but haven't gotten to spend too much time on the computer.
My back's still bothering me, luckily it's o.k. to drink lots during the holidays.
I've stopped taking my happy pills because they were having a not-so-good effect on me. Has anyone else had this problem with hydrocodone?
Kly, how awful to be sick on Christmas. Are you better now?
VJ, did you ever get rid of that cough?
Hey, lildeby. I did not get a chance to try the potato candy. I ended up giving my potatoes to my neighbor so she could make her twice-baked. We had instant. Does anyone else just love instant? I do. Heck, I'll take potatoes anyway I can get them. Which is why I am eager to try the candy!
2008 seemed to slip by. I have big hopes for 2009 -- I want to get a "better grip" on this new year.
What are your New Year's resolutions?
