29 FOREVER!!!


Here's a cute story....
My 7 year old goddaughter asked me how old I was, and of course, my answer for the past five years has been "29"...so that's what I told her. And she said, "really????...so is my mom!" (no, she's not) icon_biggrin.gif


I'm really 40....but don't tell anyone! I've been decorating for a year and a half. icon_smile.gif

My son keeps tellin on me! I'm 20 years older than him, so it's TOO easy for him to say "but mom, I'm not 5 anymore, so you can't be 25."

Why do we teach them to speak??

I'm 46 will be 47 in may.i've been making cakes for years.but started baking and decorating using wilton pans and tips in 1994.i can't make flower or anything that very good so i just make all those stars icon_lol.gif

WOW!! I'm surprised to hear some of these ages....some people I thought were older and others I thought to be younger.

I turned 27 in July and that's quite old enough for me to be....I know a lot of people stay 29, but I think I'll be staying at 27 in the future.

I'm 29. But I think I might stick with 27 like mmdd. Seems like a good age for a while. Until I find a year I like better ... icon_smile.gif

I've been baking since I can remember, cookies with my mom and grandmothers for Christmas every year. Briefly dabbled in decorating about 5 years ago, and now back on it since, what does my avatar say, whenever I joined here! (A few months). I'm sticking with it this time!

I come from a family of bakers. No store bought snacks for us! We thought it was a huge treat to have the Hostess cupcakes instead of the bars and cakes we normally got at home! So I have been baking since I can't remember when and dabbled in cake decorating on and off, now it has been on for a year or so. Just starting to get a little outside business.

I was born in 1962. How old does that make me? I can't remember...think that makes me 43? Yes, just calculated...I'll be 44 in a month.

I started decorating ice cream cakes at the Dairy Queen when I was just a teenager; so have been decorating a long time; although I have just now started playing with fondant after discovering CC. Fun stuff!

Biolobically, I am 43; physically - sometimes 93; and mature-wise - well, at times - just 3!! icon_lol.gif I was decorating on my own for about 6 years before learning the Wilton way. I think I am a little better at it now.

I'm 34! I've been decorating for 15 to 20 years!

(Actually started decorating much younger than that, but do the cakes from my easy bake oven count...I was 6 then!!!)

I'm 32, but will be 33 at the end of November. icon_eek.gif I'm not really sure where the time goes, but so far, my 30's have been the best! I've been decorating on and off for about 6 years.
