I am! I would love to get to meet some people from CC while I'm there.

I am coming in Saturday morning and leaving Saturiday evening. I have to work on Friday and teach my 4 year olds on Sunday morning.
I am not entering anything. This will be my first trip to the show.
If my skills improve over the next year I plan to enter next year. 
How about everyone figure out when they are going to be at the show and then we can figure out a time to meet?
I'm definately going, have had the date marked on my calandar for months! 
Last year was my first time, and this year, I (think) I'm going to enter a cake... have my form filled out, just scared to mail it! 
DH is taking me again this year ! I have no plans to enter anything but if the wild hair shows up and I'm able to get beyond this creative block, I may change my mind. We went last year. It seems quite overwhelming...the excitement, tension, suspense.
What if we all wear a pink dot, or green ribbon...something noticeable...on the left sleeve/right sleeve....in the same place...so as not to confuse one person's green ribbon on shirt with another person's green ribbon in their hair....sitting back wondering about each other..."Alright, she has a green ribbon in her hair...is she or isn't she...?"
I ain't saying I think it should be any particular color or item, but whatever it is, it should be the same.
Last year, I met so many people but with all the hoohaa going on there, the CC question never came up.
Too funny! I was just thinking last night how I wish everyone had some sort of CC mark on them so I would know when I spot a fellow CCer! lol This will be my first time going, I am so excited! Good luck to all ofyou who are entering! I can't imagine the stress and anxiety I'd be feeling right now. lol

If I enter anything, it will most definitely NOT be the big one! Driving from NC to OK with a display piece of that caliber(not that I could create one...but one that I put that much time in)would do me in! Just delivering a cake 50 miles away is enough to make me sick.
It took us 18 or 19 hours last year. I thought for sure he was gonna say never again....he ain't into cakes(he likes eating cake) but he sure seems to like the excitement I get over them.
What color ribbon and where are we going to wear them?
when is the show? My hubby is from Oklahoma City so we might plan a trip to visit his famiy and at the same time, I could attend the show. Is it in Tulsa?

What if we all chose a similar color shirt--say a pink polo with a green ribbon on the left sleeve? Does that sound too tacky? I can't wait to meet everyone, I just wish I had firm plans--I'm not sure I'll get to come back on Sunday--we live in OK, but near Enid.--a couple of hours away.
I would say just wear a pink shirt and a green ribbon on both days that way if someone can only be there one day they would be able to spot each other. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. I will be there both days we only live about 30 miles away.

Pink tshirt and green ribbon on sleeve - a combo sure to run off hubby during the weekend. Goodie for me! More uninterrupted cake time for me! LOL
