Jenny
Those are beautiful!! I have been wanting to try the quilted look do you use a square cutter for that? I would not change a thing they are perfect!
I think it looks absolutely gorgeous and you will be getting a lot of orders out of this deal! Beautiful work! Love the quilted-look on the top package.

I one day dream to do work like this!! It's beautiful! How could any one not like this cake!!!
Wow, this is one really great piece of art. How many hours did it take you altogether to complete it?
Congratulations -
Theresa
I certainly won't tell you to change anything! I think it's very beautiful and I really like all the different patterns and colors.
Very pretty. How will the jewelry store display it. In the window? You did a great job! BTW, how did you get this order? Did you just go into the store and talk to them, or were you referred by someone?
Top pattern I actually did with my smoother tool. I did basically eyeballed everything. It was so much fun to do.Only issue I had was figuring out which ones and where to place the different pattern. I didn't want it to look too busy or a mess.
It went by pretty fast. Only took about 12-15 hours in during my son's naptime this week. I used basic designs that I was already comfortable with. I didn't want to do anything beyond my skills.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Lisa
As for getting the job I had just walked in and asked if they would ever put a display up for any of thier events. If this goes well.....Thay will have me back to do there bridal event. I really would like to display my dress cake.!
The bow is half gumpaste half fondant. It was my 1st time using gum paste. I LOVED it. Made it so much stronger than fondant alone!
Wow!!!! that is a fantastic cake!!! I'm sure the store owners and all of the customers will be in awe!! I love it!
Look at all the shimmer!
You're such a luster dust hussy!
I too use 1/2 gumpaste 1/2 fondant for bows. It is easy to work with and dries so well!
Hi,
I am new here and this is my first post. I just wanted to say that your cake is fantastic and you should be very pleased with it.
I'm awestruck!
First of all - WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! That took an incredible amount of work. I think it is really great. The details are incredible and it hilights their product.
I could nitpick if that's what you want, but I think ANYONE would love that piece for their display. Very, very nice!
Now... how did you do the diamond pattern. I'm in love with that diamond pattern! and I LOVE holly and ivy!
Pat yourself on the back - and get ready for a steady stream of customers!
