Very pretty. How will the jewelry store display it. In the window? You did a great job! BTW, how did you get this order? Did you just go into the store and talk to them, or were you referred by someone?

Top pattern I actually did with my smoother tool. I did basically eyeballed everything. It was so much fun to do.Only issue I had was figuring out which ones and where to place the different pattern. I didn't want it to look too busy or a mess.

It went by pretty fast. Only took about 12-15 hours in during my son's naptime this week. I used basic designs that I was already comfortable with. I didn't want to do anything beyond my skills.

Thanks so much for the kind words. icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif Lisa thumbs_up.gif

As for getting the job I had just walked in and asked if they would ever put a display up for any of thier events. If this goes well.....Thay will have me back to do there bridal event. I really would like to display my dress cake.!

Love it!!! Especially the bow on top! Is it gumpaste/fondant?

The bow is half gumpaste half fondant. It was my 1st time using gum paste. I LOVED it. Made it so much stronger than fondant alone!

Look at all the shimmer!

You're such a luster dust hussy! icon_biggrin.gif

I too use 1/2 gumpaste 1/2 fondant for bows. It is easy to work with and dries so well!

First of all - WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! That took an incredible amount of work. I think it is really great. The details are incredible and it hilights their product.

I could nitpick if that's what you want, but I think ANYONE would love that piece for their display. Very, very nice!

Now... how did you do the diamond pattern. I'm in love with that diamond pattern! and I LOVE holly and ivy!

Pat yourself on the back - and get ready for a steady stream of customers!
