OK! I decided to do a color flow for this frog cake I said I can do! The heat and humidity have taken over!! icon_mad.gif Each one I do is worst than the first! icon_cry.gifI am not doing another one for this frog! I have already emailed the mother with my problem hoping that she will approve of the one I have tried to fix and where the black is not bleeding into the colors that much! icon_cry.gif

but, I am needing to do two more for a friend of mine! Should I have really stayed using the same colors that i am doing for the inside?

I did the black and then let it dry in my nice cool, less humid room. Then I did the color flow after it and the same thing happened to all 4! yes, count them..4!! What do I do!!?? icon_cry.gif

Thanks in advance!
LL

The customer said that I can use this one. She thought it was "GREAT". I guess I am too critical of myself!

He is adorable. Of course you are more critical of your own work. We are our worst critics! I am about to do a cake with colorflow and I hope mine turn out as wonderful as yours looks. icon_smile.gif

What's wrong with it??????
I don't see any bleedingicon_smile.gif How long did you let the outline dry?
May I suggest something else for the others you have to make for your friend?
Make them on plastic wrap! They will come off much easier with much less possibility of breaking!

I thought you could only do FBCT and CT on plastic?? I didn't know if the color flow would stick to that? Mine came off fine btw...thanks for your tips and comments...I feel a little better now! (it doesn't help that my husband is just as critical of my work as I am! LOL)

I think he's quite cute, too. I've only done colorflow in my Wilton class, but it looks like a great job to me!

ok I can't see anything wrong with it. If anyting it looks like you did shading on it and it is really cool. I think you are being too critical of your self, he is a super cool froggie man thumbs_up.gif

BTW...all the stuff that looks like shadows in the frog area is where the black outline bled into the color.

thumbs_up.gificon_lol.gif Yeaaa! Thanks guys! The shading was NOT on purpose! Maybe that's what she thought! It is for a dang kid! I need to get over myself! icon_lol.gif

Thanks guys!

The reason why I was crabbing about him so much is because the other 3 all look like black weirdos! One looks like he's crying and the other lost a foot along with black blood shot eyes. Oh! and the other that was slightly good my DH decided to flick his wet hands right by my items as I brought them into the light to look at them! icon_mad.gif So then the water got on the green and gave him spots! Then! When I tried to cover the spots it made him look like he had chicken pocks! icon_mad.gif Soooo...that's what i'm left with....I am glad you all like him! thumbs_up.gificon_lol.gif

He is SOOOOOOO cute. I can't see where the color is bleeding. Of course, I know from experience that pictures tend to hide the blemishes that we can see in person.

It looks great from here.
