Okay, so it hasn't been the best week for me on a number of levels, so that's probably what made this get to me.
I put up a a recipe here on cc a couple of weeks ago for strawberry cream filling. Everyone who's ever tasted mine loves it. I've gotten several repeat orders for it, and I even got a pm from a ccer thanking me for it. While it got a 5-star rating at first, it slowly dipped to a 4.25, then a 4, and now it's at a 3.4.
I just wanted to put out there to whoever gave it a lower rating that I'm sorry it wasn't what you expected or wanted. I know it's hard to find good recipies, and I have only put up 2 because I only want to put up those that I think are really great. I can't stand it when I try a recipe only to feel like I've wasted time and ingredients. Hope you can find a filling that works for you better.

Don't be upset, everyones tastes are different. I have not tried it yet, but now I want too, it sounds great. I do different fillings and most people rave about them, but there are a few who don't and will scrape it out from between the layers. It use to bug me, but it doesn't anymore. To each their own, as long as the majority love it, you have nothing to worry about. And it sounds like all fo your clients love it and those are the people that matter the most.
When different people make the same recipe, often there will be very different results. That is why there are so many different recipes for all sorts of things.
You have to consider that the tester may not have followed the exact recipe and instructions, or that they have very different tastes.
I know people who think the strawberry filling in the tube is good, but I think it tastes like red glop. oh well....
i agree, don't take it too hard, and don't let it stop you from posting other stuff. There are any number of reasons why someone didn't like it and if they didn't so what.
Please don't let it get to you! I have not yet tried your strawberry cream filling, but it sounds really good. I think there are a lot of people like me on this site who love to try new recipes and rely on people like you to put your creative recipe ideas up so we can try them. So, hang on to the great comment that you got and keep on whipping up some great new ideas! I'd love to try them! 
I wouldn't be bothered at all! Don't forget that people can rate the recipe without having tried it first - they can rate on just how it sounds to them from reading the ingredients list and the instructions - and if through no fault of your own it doesn't sound like their cup of tea (or slice of cake) they may mark it accordingly. Personally I don't think it's fair to do this but what can you do? Answer - let it go!

I didn't expect to get responses -- was just feeling bad about possibly wasting people's time, but I'm really glad you did because you're right. I shouldn't let it get to me, and I don't know the circumstances surrounding the ratings.
As I said, it was a really bad week, and I guess it just hit me like wrong place/wrong time.
I think ccer's are the best!
