GOT A FUNNY STORY--
just thought i'd post here, nothing to really make a thread for, just something that just happened.
my mom sent the tacos & now my DH has ((gasp)) GAS - so he's ate & i'm sitting at the table with my 12yr old son talking over my shoulder to me -grrrr- & my DH (not so dear) comes in the kitchen & yes he does it--i start yelling--gross/ewww--he leaves & i stomp down the hall w/a belt & tell my DS not to yell again b/c i've had a headache for 3 days & i'm tried of it....i get DD out of tub, to bed she goes.....i head back to my supper (no wonder i'm fat, stop/start eating) finally finished, i get up check on DD...head back to dining room, there's DH walking out of our bedroom & yes he does it AGAIN, he's like, somethings wrong with my stomach, i YELL "WELL GO BACK TO THE ROOM, WHY DID YOU COME OUT" GRRRRR, so he's tauting me getting closer & closer, i run for the belt 
that i had earlier & start chasing (yes chasing like a kid) him through the house, he runs, he slides & makes it to the bedroom, but no here he comes again, i start running back to him 
.....30 sec later i sit down, to tell y'all everything (which i told him i'm gonna do 
) & he's tip toeing back for another round. i looked back & shook my belt at him...........he hasn't been back 
just thought everyone could use a laugh at us acting like kids.........DH run into the wall sliding away from me (didn't get hurt) but he was laughing so hard
oh no he's back

1/2 C. flour (not 1 1/2 C) Sorry! 
It should be the same as the brown sugar.

Gah I haven't posted forever
We have been busy with DS (new to him) truck. He had it 2 days and the tranny went out. I don't know if I already told you all. So between running for parts it has been crazy.
But DH had the weekend off so we spent some time together last night after it was to dark for them to work on the truck.
Yesterday I had cooked off 2 chickens for meat to freeze and to make chicken and noodles.
Last night they just picked chicken off the bones... And had some leftovers from the day before
Today I made breakfast for lunch
Sausage, hashbrowns,scrambled eggs,toast
Tonight was Chicken noodles, mashed potatoes and fried bread.
I will try to read everything and get caught up..
breaded chicken, homefries, baked cinnamon apples and bread.
Not feeling so swift today, so I just came by to make a quick stop with my table friends. Hope ya'll are well. (Kay--that stinks about his truck, I'd be so upset about that. Same thing happend with my DH with his 1st vehicle--an S-10, tranny died after 1 week)
Tonight we had grilled pork chops, salad, sliced grilled potatoes, green beans, cottage cheese, and garlic rolls.
Did basic stuff today, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping.......
I'm not sure if I'm doing the pms thing or if I'm just in a funk. Hope every one had a good day.

tonight DH came home to yell about the fact that i didn't have supper cooked (nothing layed out) & we were suppose to go Open House at the school.
WELL EXCUSE ME!! my back & stomach was hurting & i was laying on a heating pad....also didn't care if i went to open house either. grrrrrr
so i got up, cooked

peas (leftover)

rolls
tea
went to open house (but not the PTO meeting, now that was BAD because i was last years Pres.--hmm) life goes on & they managed just fine without me.
Ok all had a not so great day....visitor came....is staying for a week

Sorry everyone was having a bad day. I kind of did. I was Putting up with MENS SH@@ So PMS also When DH has the whole weekend off he is horrible the first day back to work GGGGGRRRR. And not to mention a very tired and crabby DS. His is still busting his butt on his truck. He is getting closer to it being fixed. BBBUUUUTTT The other part to the story is the guy had the truck for sale and it was to come with 3 NEW tires. He still hasn't given them to him. And when My nephew went over to talk to the guy. The guy basically slammed the door in his face. And he said he about fell over from the pot smell coming out the door. And when DS cleaned the truck out they found a pipe under the seat. So it was pretty obvious the guy was screwing my son for drug money. So we are going to see what we can do legally about it. DH said to threaten him with telling him if he doesn't get his tires or the money value of the tires they are going to the police with the evidence. 
But right now he is more focused on getting the truck running. He has to do that around school and work schedules.
So everyone has been having good food around here pork and steak.. I am so hungry. I made grilled cheese for DH before he went to work and kids grabbed what ever they could kind. I need to come up with something for me and DH when he gets off work. I have NO IDEA what.

Last night was leftovers. Tonight it was chicken quesadillas for the family, chicken and veggies for me.
Ran errands all day long. Boring. At least the weather is nice. Warm in the afternoon, cool in the evening. Hope every one is well.

Still feeling a little cruddy but today was nice and warm --85 degrees!
Tonight my dad took me and the little ones to Timbo's, a local hot dog and ice cream shack that closes in the fall. I had cheese nacho's for dinner and then I said NO to ice cream for my dad to order me a Large hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and nuts! ( I could only eat about 1/4 and he looked disappointed)
DH had sandwiches and watermellon.
Going to bed now

Last night was a crazy night. They had the leftover Chicken rice burritos for supper. Tonight I made my cheesy mac with sausage, carrotsand peas all mixed together. My kids totally love this stuff. And it is so fast and easy YYYAAAAAHHHH
The weather was really nice warm not really hot with a slight breeze. Tonight is awesome a cool breeze blowing in the windows. Yes fall is here YYYAAHHHH We are suppose to be in the low 80's So I am Happy
Update on DS truck he got the tires from the guy. But we found out the rear end needs fixed now. He is sad but he is going to have someone else work on it. Maybe they can fix it without putting in a new one. Cross your fingers for him...

quick post tonight since I'm still sick and so are my kids I feel worse at night and early morning. So I'm less productive(or just lazy 
)
Made breaded eggplant pamesan with breaded meat and cheese ravioli and bread for DH. Kids had their choice of mac n' cheese or spaghetti with bread. I had a glass of hot water with 3 breaded raviolies.
I did make granola bars today and have just regular granola (with nuts and add-ins) in the oven right now.
Can't wait to go to sleep tonight.
No, not the flu. There is a NASTY virus getting spread like wildfire in the area I live. Soar throught, acky body, congestion, runny nose and a wicked dry cough. I have a lot of canker soars in my mouth right now too. ouch! It will be over with hopefully soon and life can get back to normal.
Tonight I made Chicken over biscuits. But made DH a snack of grilled swiss cheese and bologna before the supper was done he was starving....

Christi Ds went to bed already and DH has went to work. But with all the knowledge of cars I get around here.......LOL I would has to say yes. If niether are working it is safe to bet they are connected somehow... I am talking out my behind probably But it could be some sort of sensor.. I don't know what vehicle it is so it is just a guess.. I can ask them later tomorrow.
And update on the truck not good news... The rear end needs replaced. They found a used one but it will cost him around 800 to 1,000 to fix it. He is trying to rework his exisiting loan.. And we are checking to see if we can get money back from the guy he got it from..

Got my van back and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be YIPPEEE, instead of 600.00 it was 175.00 I am so happy about that cause we sure didn't have 600.00
Anyways
Dinner tonight consisted of 2 inch thick ribeyes from Sam's marinated in a pineapple/terryaki combination. Baked potatoes with fixins on the side (bacon, sour cream, chives and chedder cheese) No salad. But I did make IMBC for the first time today and BOY was it yummy. Wasn't for anybody, just us

I had a nephew spend the night. So I made mini pizzas. Made with generic grands biscuits, pizza sauce and cheese.

I still haven't eaten and don't know what I want to eat..DH is crashed on the hide-a-bed with DD and nephew they look so angelic But I know differently LOL Now I got to get a pic to prove they can look that way at least LOL
Kay it was the actuator (Sp), it had quit working (I guess its the thing that switches the heat and the cool. They had to get to it, take it out, take it apart, clean it and put it back in. Then they recharged my ac and ran a dye in it to make sure there were no leaks in the A/c, none so far but I am supposed to take it back in a couple of weeks so they can check that again. Happy that it wasnt the coil that can run 600.00 + .
I know what we are having tonight My mom is fixing dinner, her famous Fried Chicken, cats head biscuits and gravy, green beans and tomato dumplins.....dessert...homemade strawberry shortcake with fresh whipped cream..and hopefully a big ole cup of her famous coffee YUMMM

Hello friends. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I have been doing the pms thing. I just get so sad and weepy right before I start to cycle. It drives me crazy. 
I have done well on my diet (even while doing pms). I have dropped a size. I have 6 more weeks to reach the first goal. DH and I leave for our cruise 6 weeks from today. I can not wait.
I have been playing tour guide. My sister and her husband and my DH and I were planning to take our dad to Alaska this next June(on a cruise). So we finally picked a date and he is so excited he tells all of his brothers and their wives at a family reunion over labor day. Oh yea....we went from 5 going to 12 going. Only one of them are computer literate, so the rest just want me to book everything for them. It will be fun....when we get everything arranged. I almost have everyone booked on the cruise, next will be getting their airfare taken care of.
Let's see, I guess I should post what has been for dinner
Last night, burgers, mac n' cheese( blue box )
for me it was a burger, no bun, with mashed cauliflower (first time I had made this, I have had it out. It was so yummy)
Thursday night....DD had soccer so we went out after. We went to BW3, a wing place. I had a grilled chicken salad. Oh and for lunch, I had a salad. (any one see a pattern )

Christi....I'm glad your car didn't cost any more than it did. And just tell me what time dinner is at your mom's ...and maybe a few directions and I'll be there. Yum.. eat some chicken and biscuits for me.
Kay...they all look so peaceful while they are sleeping. I look in our my youngest each night before I go to bed, because no matter what kind of day she had, I stand there marveling at what a gift she truly is.

Thursday night I made a pasta dish with penne, sausage, mushrooms, red peppers. The sauce was a creamy garlic and cheese sauce and it also had some chopped tomatoes in it, I dont know how it sounds, but it was delicious.
Last night went out to dinner with my brother and his wife to a wonderful Italian restaurant called Canali's.
DH and my brother had Chicken Sorrento
My sister-in-law had Chicken Scampi
and I had Homemade cavateilli with a creamy basil sauce
As usual everything was fantastic.
Don't know about tonight yet,

Oh yes it was a MONDAY
Last night was actually breakfast all day long LOL I made breakfast for lunch for DS nephew and myself. Pancakes, bacon,sausage,hashbrown,fried eggs. DH was sleeping and DD was at my sisters. So when the woke up and came home they wanted food. So DD had pancakes ,scrambled eggs. DH had scrambled eggs,hashbrowns,sausage.
And for when he got off of work I made Hamburger Helper Cheesy Hashbrown(which he didn't eat) DS did when he came home for lunch. DH was to tired to eat and went to bed.
So tonight I made meatloaf, cheesy mashed potatoes, and the corn I cut off the cob and froze. And tonight I am baking Choc. chip cookies and a cake for an order this weekend.
I am also doing another garage sale.. Probably the last one for this year.. Hoping it is a good one
I gotta go take cookies out of the oven talk to you all later
