Finally after waiting oh about 6 MONTHS icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif ! icon_surprised.gif The local AC Moore has classes icon_eek.gif ! I enrolled today start May 3rd icon_biggrin.gif . Also signed my butt up for the one stroke painting class icon_rolleyes.gif . After seeing the recent uploads with the technique.....I need to learn that icon_lol.gif ! Well I have been teaching myself icon_cool.gif , so hopefully I have been doing it somewhat correctly icon_rolleyes.gif ! YAH YAH ME! thumbs_up.gificon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gificon_biggrin.gif

Sounds like you are ready for fun!!! I am sure the painting class will be soooooo helpful with the cakes! You will do great!

I had no clue you hadn't had classes. I REALLY like your cakes. In fact, I have a few in my favorites (not knowing they were from the same decorator). I like your style. I can't wait to see your future cakes!

Thanks...I really need the classes. If anyone has noticed I have made absolutely NO flowers out of buttercream. Looking forward to learning.

It is an inspiring place! Gosh I remember when I first started playing with decorating, all I had was the 1977 Wilton Yearbook for inspiration, my how things have changed! I remember when being creative was making bunnies out of marshmallows stuck together with toothpicks and using paper for the ears, haha! Heehee, I still do that sometimes, just so I can eat them.
All of you newbies pick up techniques in a few month's time from your first cake, things many of us took years to learn. You folks are just amazing!

Yeah...it's corse 1. I enrolled to learn to make BC flowers. Can't seem to grasp them. I am going to try lilies tonight though for easter. Thanks for the kind words. And I am sure I'll have a blast! icon_smile.gif
