The cloud on the other side of the canal is not from construction or dust. It's a pollen cloud. Go Spring! My car is coated in yellow.

Mine is white -- well, it was white. Since it is so nice out we went for a walk along the Savannah River and the attached canal (Right when you cross over I-20 from SC to GA - there's two bridges, we were walking between the two). Everyone here is gearing up for The Masters, so I guess it will be good to see everything in bloom.

Glad I am not there. I suffer really badly from allergies. If I saw something like that, I would be running away in the opposite direction.

That's pretty wild. No pollen here yet.

The yellow stuff you can see is pine pollen. Since it's so thick, most people aren't allergic to it. It does signal, however, the return of all the little things that you can't see.

The pollen is sooo bad in LA too. My bus is covered in it! Seats & all! I've dusted but it doesn't help, it's back in a second! Everyone's voices are so hoarse from breathing in the pollen. We need a good rain! In all this yellow... I'm still soooo thankful that it's spring!!! icon_smile.gif

I run my windshield wipers every time before getting into the car (without the water) just to clear off the dust. If you use the water, you car ends up looking a fright.
