I wanted to ask if my friends & even members I don't know would say a prayer for my family. My Grandma passed away at 2 am last night. She was 89 years old. We will miss her dearly~ I would appreciate the prayers.

Thank you everyone! My sister is flying in from Memphis then we will be heading home. Grandma lived a beautiful life! She had 9 children, around 35 grandkids (maybe closer to 45), over 35 great grandkids, around 20 great great grand kids~ She was not a rich person but let me tell you.. she got everyone in the family a Christmas gift every year! Even if it was a pair of socks! She never left any family member out! What a wonderful person she was! I will miss her dearly!

Seems like she was a great person and had a great life and you guys were blessed to have her for so many years.

I am so sorry.. I know your pain, I lost my grandmother in 2002.. I miss her so much! Grandmas are what make this world go round...

We ask that you ease the pain of our friend. We know it was her grandmothers time to go with you and that she is happy and in a better place with you our lord. But you know it does not make it easier for our pain to go away so we ask you in Jesus' name to reach your mighty hand down and touch our friend TC so that her pain will ease and she can rejoice for her grandmother. Lord we ask this in Jesus' name

I just got home today. Good to be back! Thank you all for your kind words & prayers for me & my family! Believe me they were felt!
Before I left my hometown today, me & my parents & my son went to my Grandparents house. Everyone in the family could get anything they wanted out of the house. It was strange but beautiful at the same time. I picked out my Gma's old flour sifter, rolling pin & was able to get any/all the pictures I wanted! My Mom surprised me with something that I didn't even know existed! My Grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary cake topper!! I am the only cake decorator in the family. Everyone wanted me to have it! I cried & cried!! It is so special to me!! I will treasure it as long as I live! I just uploaded the pic of it in my galleries. Take a look! My G'parents 50th Ann. was in 1984 when I was 16 years old.
I also was given an old pic of Jesus. The one when He is knocking on the door. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I love it!

Well kiddo, sounds like you have the things that will be the best momentos for you! I don't know why, but there is something about using the same tools that a loved one used that just makes you feel closer to them, like they are right there. I have my mother's sifter and rolling pin too!

No, not tired anymore. I was on Tues & Wed. I'm caught up on my beauty sleep now! Thanks to sleeping all day Wed! Went back to bus driving today. So glad I did! Things have to get back to normal. I'm fine so NO WORRIES! ok!

I'm a sub school bus driver in hopes to be full time soon. I started in Aug 05'. I'm subbing every day! We have over 200 buses in our parish. So I stay VERY busy. When I have a cake due I have to say no to bus drivers needing a sub. They understand though! We'll have to start PMing or emailing! Would love to get to know you!
