YAY!! I tried basket weaving and roses for the first time in this practice cake. I'm very excited....it's not the best but I'm encouraged that I can do it! (The roses scared me to death, so I'm glad I tried them!)

That is soooo great! I haven't tried basket weave yet, a little scared but I have tried roses and all I can say is WOW you are a natural!! Just a little envious lol!! icon_biggrin.gif

That's alot of weaving there! It turned out great! Was your wrist and hand sore? lol, the only time I've done it was on the course II final cake, haven't done it again since! icon_biggrin.gif Your roses turned out great to thumbs_up.gif

Good job! Basketweave is a great tool to learn. I now use it when the sides of the cake are not perfect. It hides alot!
