First Cupcake Cake - Thanks Again To Cali4Dawn

Hello all,
I made my first cupcake cake this weekend for my family's Easter dinner. It turned out great except for the extremely scary dark purple freehand bunny that I put on top for decoration...the reason you don't see a picture here. 
I wanted to put out a huge thank you to Dawn for her tutorial on cupcake cakes...I had never even heard of a cupcake cake before I came to this site. I filled them (which I didn't know you could do) with a Bizmark tip, leveled them and iced them the "Dawn" way and I was very pleased with how it looked...just like a cool yet oddly shaped cake...you really couldn't tell they were cupcakes from the top.
Thanks to Dawn, to this site and to all of you who provide helpful tips and support.
BTW, I used meringue-free icing...worked this all out with hubby (thanks for all your support through that whole ordeal),

Hi, suzyqqq27. I am so glad that things are looking up for you. I knew that once your hubby came down from his fear for your baby that he would know that this was in your heart. Hey Suzyqqq!! I just realized you were back too!! Welcome back!!! I understand the stuff w/ the hubby.. mine said he wants me to quit because I'm having health problems... I told him right out that I wasn't going to quit!!! As long as I can I will do cakes!! Glad you tried the icing w/ out meringue powder. We all gave good advice on that one didn't we!! I have yet to make the cupcake cake. My friend has & she loves the techinique. I'll hopefully get too it sooner then later! Well welcome back!!!! ~TC~

As for stopping to decorate... we all need a stress relief. I actually became more ill when NOT doing something I loved. It's a judgment call only you can make, not even hubby.
