Friday Faves: Baby Showers, Bollywood and Circus Scenes

As editors of Cake Central Magazine, we come across countless inspiring things every day. From cakemakers’ stories to wedding inspiration to cool new products, we want to share a few of our favorite finds with you every week. This week we were impressed by circus scenes, Bollywood inspiration and tasteful baby shower creations. Here are this week’s Friday Faves!

Jackie’s Faves- CEO of Cake Central Media Corp.

I adore how perfectly geometric this square cake is by JWinslow. The repeating square patterns offset by the soft gumpaste orchids and bamboo create a very pleasing balance and symmetry.

I love the vintage feel and muted color palate of this cute cake by jantarnaja!

Pink arabian cake

Created for a special girl for her 15th birthday by arielelle, this bold, extraordinary cake reminds me of the cakes found in our Bollywood-inspired issue of Cake Central Magazine (V4, I5). I love the vibrant pink layers and how they’re each accented with shimmering gold accents that bring the entire creation together.

Circus Cake

So many amazing circus and carnival themed cakes are cropping up in the Cake Central galleries, but this circus-inspired cake by Lasucree is especially impressive! The dynamic tiers and carefully detailed figures are absolutely amazing— this cake makes me want to buy a ticket to the big top!

Baby Girl Pink

Panel7124’s baby shower cake is tasteful and demure— a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of a precious baby girl. I’m in love with the contrasting patterns on the elephant, carriage and wrap-around embellishments, and the variety of textures creates visual appeal and a nice balance.
