Fifi Flowertot

Fifi Flowertot on Cake Central

This was a bit of a challenge. I couldn't find a decent picture of the cottage on google so I used a giant floor jigsaw puzzle image! The spout has a dowel through it, right down to the board. Other than that, the rest is edible. Fifi took me almost as long to make as the cake itself so I made her a few days ago and dried her flat. I'll post a closer pic of her too.

It's made up of 3 cakes. 7", 6" and 5"....crusts trimmed, filled and carved sloping down the sides. It had to be a simple shape or I wouldn't have done it!

This is incredible - we have the toy in our playroom and this looks exactly the same - I have often wondered about making this but the spout put me off - you are truly an inspiration. If you don't mind me asking - how long did it take?

Fifi took me 3 hours and I made her flat and left her to dry for 2 days! The main cake took approx. 5 hours but I cut the windows freehand, I'll buy cutters to help with the next one! The spout has a dowel through it but needed support til dry.

WOW! What a fantastic job you made of this.Going in my favourites. I've got a Fifi order coming up, this is a great inspiration but it'll never look this good.

Super, super, super, the detail is soo clear and precise. It is beautiful master piece. Have you ever thought of doing animation models?
