Although I like to make my cakes from scratch, this was one of the earlier cakes and had a very hard time finding the "candies" that go into a confetti cake so this was made from a cake mix/box cake.

This is a 9" round, double layer cake.

I used my standard cream cheese frosting. I outlined different size circles all over the cake and then used a star tip to fill them in. Although the picture doesn't give the colors I used justice, I used violet, teal, and pink gel coloring.
