Ok, I know I said I wasn't going to post any more but this is how I got started with this decorating addiction-cookies. I practiced on these before I started on any cakes, lots of fun and very tasty. These were for hubby's video gaming night with his friends. I beat them the last time so these cookies were to tease them

I want to say Thank you to everyone as well... DH and I have been fussing lately because of my addiction to this site. My dream is to open my own cake shop here in MD. Because I am home with kids all day I want to talk about my brainstorming or latest decisions in regards to the cake business. His first statement always is "get off the job" well its not a job yet its my baby and still in its infant stage. Last night he walked by and saw My photos page and wanted to know what favorites meant. So I explained and then he looked at the square 50th Anniversary cake and said When did you make that one? (Hello mcfly last weekend and you helped me deliver it to the restaraunt!) He critiques every one of my creations and most of the time he is on the same page as me . It is wonderful to come on this site and post a pic and have so many of you leave comments and even the ones that just stop by to take a look inspire me. Thank you CCrs you give me a reason to smile everyday. This site is not an addiction the comments and ideas are

That is one adorable cake! I love it! well I made the same one, so I obviously I do! I think you need to add key words to your picture, so when people are searching for a dog cake yours will come up. This is a way for your cakes to be noticed, that is what this thread is about!

This is a cake I was very proud of, but unfortunately it only got saved 1 time .
I've seen many similar cakes that were favorited at least 20 times.

Great thread! Okay, this is one that I really enjoyed doing and thought turned out great - but it's only in 1 person's favorites! It was a bridal shower cake for a couple who was getting married somewhere tropical (notice the bride is still wearing her veil floating on the air mattress!). Thanks for looking!
